About The Project

About The Project

The Kinshasa Flood Watch is an initiative designed to provide a comprehensive and timely flood early warning system for the citizens of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Leveraging state-of-the-art meteorological data, river discharge forecasts, and AI-powered analytics, this dashboard aims to empower decision-makers, emergency responders, and the general public with actionable insights to mitigate the risks associated with flooding.

Our mission is to reduce the impact of floods on lives and livelihoods by providing accurate, accessible, and timely warnings, enabling communities to prepare and respond effectively.
